100% Beeswax Candles

Reap the benefits of our 100% cotton-wicked, pure, beeswax candles.

Advantages of 100% Beeswax candles over commercially produced paraffin candles:

  • Chemical Free: beeswax occurs naturally and there are no other synthetic ingredients involved. Most commercial candles have paraffin. Paraffin is known to create toxic fumes that can cause a variety of respiratory problems. Paraffin candles are made from paraffin wax, a by-product of petroleum refining

  • Pure and Clean:  Beeswax candles provide a pure and clean-burning flame that produces very little smoke.

  • No Metal Wicks: We use only 100% cotton wicks in our candles. Many commercial candle manufacturers are using metal-cored wicks so that the candle can keep its flame. Some of these wicks contain lead contributing to unhealthy indoor air quality.

  • Nature’s Air Purifier: Beeswax releases negative ions when it burns. Pollen, dust, dirt, pollutants all carry a positive charge. The negative ions released from burning beeswax negate the positive charge of air contaminants and the neutralized ions are sucked back into the burning candles Paraffin candles emit a toxic petrol smoke that has a devastating impact on one’s health in the long run.  Because beeswax candles clean the air and reduce indoor pollutants, they have been known to effectively reduce asthma, allergies, hay fever.

  • Economical: Beeswax burns significantly longer than petroleum-based paraffin candles. Since beeswax has a higher melting point than paraffin, it burns more slowly. Although beeswax candles can cost slightly more than paraffin, they last longer and this is what makes them a great investment in the long haul.

  • Environmentally Friendly: Natural beeswax candles are more environmentally-friendly, as the process of collecting and processing beeswax does not pollute the surrounding environment. The source is a natural and renewable one.
